History

The villa has been in the owner's family for more than 3 centuries. The owner is indeed the descendant of one of the 140 families who came from Liguria to Italy in the 15th century, at the request of the monks of the Lérins Islands, off the coast of Cannes, to cultivate their orange trees. The family tree on the village square, Place Bellevue, still bears witness to the adventure represented by the founding of the village. On this same square are inscribed the names of the 140 families, including that of the owner.

While maintaining its traditional appearance, the owner has just completely renovated the villa built on three levels: it retains its old wash house, its wine press, its marmalade cabinet, its adorable garden planted with orange trees, olive trees, fig trees and mandarins.
