The Villa is located in a quiet residential street of the old village of le Cannet. The original mansion, (on 176 sq m grounds) in a green wooded setting offers peace and a quiet atmosphere for a simple stopover or a longer stay. It is a delightful place, less than four kilometers and a 10-mn drive from the Croisette and its beaches, the Cannes Congress Centre and the Massif de l’Esterel.

Le Cannet, also called the Madeira of France  is a small town full of history between Mougins and Vallauris on the hill which dominatesthe bay of Cannes. Le Cannet was a place frequented by many painters, including Pierre Bonnard who is buried there: the Bonnard museum opened its doors there in 2011. Le Cannet is only an hour by car fromalpine ski resorts open from November to April. On the other hand, many lands ofgolfallow the practice of this sport in the department ofAlpes-Maritimes. The region is well known for its museums in Nice,AntibesAndSt. Paul de Vence. It is thus possible tocombine golf, skiing and culture during the same stay. The villa has been in the owner's family for more than 3 centuries. The owner is indeed the descendant of one of the 140 families who came from Liguria to Italy in the 15th century, at the request of the monks of the Lérins Islands, off the coast of Cannes, tocultivate their orange trees. The family tree on the village square, Place Bellevue, still bears witness to the adventure represented by the founding of the village. On this same square are inscribed the names of the 140 families, including that of the owner. While maintaining its traditional appearance, the owner has just completely renovated the villa built on three levels: it retains its old washhouse, its wine press, its jam , its fruit tree, itsadorable garden planted with orange trees, olive trees, fig trees and mandarin trees. It is located between the main street of the village and the famousBoulevard Carnotwho linksLe CannetAtPalais des Festivals in Cannes. Rue du Cros gives onto rue Victorien Sardou where the only cinema in Le Cannet is located.walking stickscan be reached very quicklyin less than 20 minutesby bus or taxi (bus and taxi stations two minutes from the house in front of the town hall): it is therefore not necessary to have a car, although there is also the possibility of parking along the the house or in the street or in the free municipal car park. Although the house is not what is called 'close to the Croisette', its two bedrooms have adistant view of the bay of Cannes. It is ideal for anyone who wants to attend the Cannes Film Festival.three rooms, each with two single beds which can be pushed together to make a bed of 1.80m by 2m. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a large shower room (hairdryer in each bathroom). A pharmacy, the post office and the municipal library as well as excellent bakers and butchers are 1 minute away. the house on the boulevard. The villa and its garden allow you to relaxin a relaxing atmosphere under a cover of greenery away from prying eyes. In the afternoon, the villa, thanks to its thick walls, its traditional shutters, and the air conditioning allows you to take a nap in the cool of the hottest part of the day. A few meters from the villa, in the evening, the street main village, the streetSt. Saviour, comes alive with its many youngcharming restaurantsand its painting galleries. ThereBellevue Squareallows toadmire the sunset over the bay of Cannes. The villa is equipped with all possible amenities, but it has kept itsfamous red tiles; its old stone fountain backing onto the house which bears the date of1867; its old stone washhouse; its old wine press where the ancestors pressed the grapes from their land; the jam maker on the stairs where the ancestors stored the 'bigarade' bitter orange jams made with oranges from the garden. The garden has kept itstraditional plantationsand one can in particular taste there the delicious grapes of its two trellis muscats.
